Those Buzz Lightyear Aliens

The Buzz Lightyear interactive ride-thingie is becoming one of my favorites at Disneyland. Too bad I completely suck at it.

The Griffith Observatory

Another hike for me, this time from the south end of Griffith Park up to the Hollywood sign. Luckily, it rained the night before, so downtown LA wasn't nearly as hazy as it usually is. Though I guess if I took this shot an hour earlier the sky might have been a touch more blue, though there wouldn't be the side-lighting on the Griffith Observatory.

Like a fish out of water

Went hiking around Devil's Punchbowl over the weekend, and saw this cactus in a rather unnatural environment.

Camera: Olympus E-1
Exposure time: 1/60 s
F-number: f/9.0
ISO speed ratings: 200
Lens: 11-22mm F2.8-3.5

Shot JPEG, auto-levels, cropping, and smart-sharpen in Photoshop CS3.

Yeah, it could probably use a bit saturation in the green, but that wouldn't be very true to life.
